Waterline repiping is the process of replacing the water supply plumbing system in your home. The process involves removing old pipes that are readily accessible and installing new piping that meets today’s plumbing standards. You’ll see this repiping running from both your hot and cold-water sources to all of the existing fixtures and faucets throughout your home.

What is the Timeline?

The amount of time it takes to complete your waterline repiping is going to depend on a number of factors. However, the average time is between 1 and 3 days. Larger homes are going to take longer to repipe. Remember that you won’t have running water during the repiping process, so planning ahead is a necessity.

 

Will Drywall be Affected?
