The Faces Behind the Kraken Van

A Small Local Crew, a Florida License, and Work You Can Point At

Most plumbing companies in Florida will send you a technician. We would rather introduce you to one first. Kraken Plumbing runs a small, locally owned crew out of Ormond Beach, Florida, and the person who answers your questions is usually the one who opens your wall.

A crew this size cannot hide a rushed install behind a call center. Every repipe, water heater, and sewer replacement we finish carries somebody's name on it, and that person still lives here, still shops here, and still passes your street on the way to the next job.

What It Takes to Ride in One of Our Vans

Licensed work, no shortcuts. Everything we install falls under Florida plumbing contractor license CFC1431933, and it gets built to code whether or not anyone inspects it.

Diagnosis before quoting. We find the cause and show it to you. Nobody here writes a number on a page for a problem they have not physically located.

Clean habits in a lived-in home. Drop cloths, contained cuts, shoes considered, debris hauled out. Your house goes back the way we found it, minus the leak.

Plain language, every time. If an explanation needs jargon to sound convincing, it was not much of an explanation. We say what failed, why, and what the options actually cost you.

Meet the Crew

A photo sits beside every introduction below. These are the people who will be in your home or your building, not a pool of contractors assembled that morning.

Name lastname

Owner and Licensed Plumbing Contractor

Runs: repipe scoping, sewer replacements, and the final walkthrough on every job.

Known for: showing homeowners the failed section before talking about price. Carries the state license the whole company works under and still runs calls most weeks. Reviews the plan on every large project, meets homeowners on site, and personally signs off on the finished system before we call the job complete.

Lead Repipe Technician

Runs: whole house repipe crews from first cut to final pressure test.

Known for: the smallest drywall openings anyone on the coast manages. Maps PEX routing around your daily life instead of taking the shortest path through the house. Keeps water on wherever possible, protects flooring before the tools come out, and pressure tests the entire system before the crew packs up.

Water Heater and Fixture Technician

Runs: electric water heater installs, replacements, and remodel fixture work.

Known for: talking homeowners out of replacements they do not need yet. Sizes tanks to how a household actually uses hot water rather than to square footage alone. Diagnoses element, thermostat, and sediment problems before recommending a new unit, and sets remodel fixtures so the finished bathroom lines up properly.

Commercial Service Plumber

Runs: restaurants, offices, and rental properties across Volusia County and Flagler County. Known for: getting a business back open before the next shift starts. Understands that a shut-off means lost income, not simply an inconvenience. Isolates failures quickly, works around opening hours wherever the building allows it, and documents findings so property managers get a clear record rather than a vague invoice.

Franchise Crew or Local Crew

Our competitors are large operations with thousands of reviews and a marketing budget to match. That is a fair fight only if you assume every plumbing job is the same job.

The franchise model How we work
Pricing set in a corporate book Pricing set by what your job actually takes
Whoever the dispatcher sends that day The same faces from estimate to final test
Technicians paid to hit a sales target Nobody earns more by selling you extra
Recommendations that follow a script Recommendations that follow the diagnosis

Come Meet Us on a Job Instead

Reputation in this trade is built one utility room at a time, and 28 years of it does not survive a single careless install. That is the whole reason we stay small enough to know every job by name. If you want to see how our crew works before committing to anything, request a free estimate through our contact page and one of the people above will walk your property with you, explain what is actually happening, and leave you with options rather than pressure.
